Even the first tractors developed by Johann Georg Fendt were called diesel horses. The diesel horses of the F20 series were particularly successful, with almost 9,000 units built between 1951 and 1957. This laid the foundation for what Fendt is today: one of the most successful tractor manufacturers in the world.
